Fabric Flower Pins

I found this cute tutorial from "Sew Blessed" for fabric flowers and thought i would make some for a friend who lost the flower pin from her purse.

The Fabric:


making the petals:

fold one square of fabric into a triangle and do a simple stitch across the open area.


pull/gather to make one petal

repeat the process on the same piece of string for the remaining 4 petals.


the completed flower base.

sew a piece of felt to the back of the flower base. Sew in a safety pin and finish it by sewing a button on the front.
